That is subliminal communication and it can be very powerful. Just watch Mentalists (people who create the illusion of mindreading or psychic ability) on TV. They are very adept at subliminal communication by keeping your conscious mind busy and 'planting' messages into your subsconscious mind.

Cover the walls of your classroom with everything that is positive. Posters with motivational pictures and words. Inspirational quotations from great people.
